Admission Advisor

Job Summary Summary:
The Admissions Advisor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. This includes providing program information, assessing candidate suitability, conducting interviews, and supporting applicants throughout the enrollment journey. The advisor acts as a key ambassador of the institution and plays a vital role in achieving enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to prospective student inquiries via phone, email, in-person, and virtual meetings.
  • Conduct interviews with potential students to determine program fit and eligibility.
  • Provide detailed information on program offerings, career outcomes, tuition, and admissions requirements.
  • Guide applicants through the enrollment process, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions using the college’s CRM or admissions software.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to follow up on leads and campaign conversions.
  • Participate in information sessions, campus tours, and open house events.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets and KPIs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with applicants.
  • Stay current on program updates, institutional policies, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education (Diploma or Degree preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in admissions, sales, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the private career college sector is an asset.
