TalentCompass is currently looking for Millwrights and Electricians for our clients across Canada. Our clients vary from oil & gas, manufacturing, construction and energy. These are permanent roles working days & nights and offer a variety of shifts (7/7, M-F, 4/4, etc.). If relocation is required, the company will provide relocation assistance. 

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, installs, assembles and modifies equipment
• Lubrication of machinery, seal replacement, cleaning of parts during overhauls and preventative maintenance.
• Reads and creates blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Enter work requests and order parts and materials with CMMS
• Install, repair and maintain airlines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Maintain and monitor equipment using predictive and preventive techniques. (Vibration analysis, stethoscopes, strobe lights and thermal imaging.)
• Troubleshoot electrical problems, make decisions necessary to repair, and restore equipment to design specifications.
• Perform electrical tests using megger, OHM meter, and other test equipment.
• Perform work utilizing prints and/or computer logic.
• Perform complex predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions.
• Make process control changes.
• Read wiring and circuit diagrams.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Industrial Mechanic/Millwright/Electrician
• Minimum of 3 years of Industrial Experience
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time, climb, bend, stoop, squat and lift.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at substantial heights
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and writing skills.
